Died—Near Petersburg, July the 30th,
William H. C. Ross, in the 19th year of his age. He was a member of Capt. C. E. Shober’s company and a brother to Alpheus
Arnolphus Ross, who died at Richmond June 19. William
Henry was a kind and affectionate son, a loving brother. He leaves a large circle of relatives and
acquaintances to mourn their loss.
