The 21st North Carolina
Regiment is now in Gen. Ewell’s division with Gen. Jackson’s Army in the valley
of Virginia. It was recently
re-organized by the election of Capt. Thomas Settle, Colonel; R. K. Pepper, Lt.
Colonel; and Dr. Saunders Fulton, Major.
